Inner Core Cable - Left Wound
Inner core cable features our hollow core cable with a nylon core that
floats in the middle of the cable. As torque builds, the nylon core acts
as a stiff rod which increases the rigidness of the cable enabling to push
through tough drain obstructions. Inner-core cables are available in all
cable diameters and can be purchased as standard cable, loose wound,
or oil tempered.
Loose wound cable allows for more movement than the standard cable
as it is more flexible which makes it easier to maneuver tight corners.
The oil-tempered cable (11/16” and 3/4” only) are made from a stiff wire
that was developed for the auto industry to be used in valve springs.
The stiff wire makes the cable stronger and more rigid than standard
inner core cable. The oil-tempered cable is used for long, straight runs
where there are few traps to negotiate.
